ID, please!
We are required to obtain a copy of each student\'s personal identification. The ID can be in the form of a birth certificate, a Canadian passport, a provincial identification card, a Canadian drivers license, or any of the Canadian documentation listed in the guidelines linked below.
This will apply to currently registered and new registrations.
This is to comply with the BC Ministry of Education Guidelines for the Acceptable Use of Names, Date of Birth and Sex (Gender) to ensure a student\'s legal name, date of birth and gender are used on British Columbia ministry student records.
So please be patient with staff as we adjust to this requirement.

Words on Wheels Bus
The Words on Wheels (WOW) bus, tours School District #60 and is for children ages 0-5 with their parents or caregivers.
On board the bus are backpacks of books (0-2 & 3-5); snacks and coffee; a toy lending library; \"bring a book-take a book\" exchange; parent resources and referrals; community brochures/handouts and stuffy buddies to read with.

StrongStart Centre Calendars
StrongStart is a free, drop-in early learning program for children ages 0-5 and their parent/caregiver. There is a qualified Early Childhood Educator on site. It is a safe, creative environment to stimulate learning and literacy through play, with opportunities for library time, use of the gymnasium and healthy snacks.
Robert Ogilvie Elementary School & Duncan Cran Elementary School in Fort St. John are both StrongStart centres.
Hudson\'s Hope School also has a StrongStart centre, and Charlie Lake School, Taylor School, Prespatou School and Clearview School host weekly Outreach StrongStart programs.
Please bring inside shoes and slippers to wear!

NBCDES Tutorials - 09/10 Info
Tutorials will held in the computer lab and are open to any student who needs help with his/her work.
For help with higher levels of Math or Science please contact your advisor prior to attending a session.
Tutorial times are from 3:30 - 5:30 pm, Monday to Thursday.
