Earth Science 11 is a web-based online course which includes a large number of options for virtual field trips. Resources include a textbook and a CD-Rom on the state of the environment in BC, as well as many Web links. Earth Science 11 has seven modules:

• Module 1 Rocks, Minerals, and Mining
• Module 2 External Earth
• Module 3 Internal Earth
• Module 4 Eons and Ecology
• Module 5 The Ocean
• Module 6 The Atmosphere
• Module 7 The Universe

Each of these modules has self-marking quizzes (answers provided) as well as assignments based on text study and Web research. Your course mark for Earth Science 11 will be based on testing and assignment work. You will have succeeded in this course when you have begun a lifelong practice of applying the knowledge and skills each day.
